Dwyer的470-1型手持式热量型风速计的灵活性使之可以适应多种风速测量。由于470-1便于携带和在现场使用,470-1可用于平衡供热系统和空气调节系统、测量HVAC管道中的风速、读出烟气和废气通风口的风速,还可以进行与农业、森林、高速公路和娱乐业有关的风速测量。这种由价格便宜的电池供电的电子仪表提供了两种通过开关进行选择并由易于读数的模拟表显示的风速范围:0～600 FPM和500～6000FPM。两个标准的9V碱性电池可以提供8小时工作(相当于5000多个读数)所需电能。而且还有一个便利的LED电源不足指示器,这可以防止在工作中由于更换电池而耽误时间。复杂的温度补偿电路可以在
