Fluorescent particles of known density and particle diameter range are often used in density-matching for flow visualization and analysis of fluid flow in a device. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution.

Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and need to be coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend Tween 80 Bio-compatible Surfactant
